EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S DESK

The Centre for Cyberspace Studies is a multidisciplinary platform for innovative R&D and entrepreneurship that focuses on tapping the vast opportunities presented by the artificial virtual world-the cyberspace. We aim to target top-tier academic research and publishing, craving how fresh ideas can be transformed to value added solutions from a global perspective. That is, we are continuously engaging in ground breaking innovative solutions that are problem-driven which has applicability to local, national and global needs. We are endowed with notch faculty who are deeply grounded in the foundational fundamentals of their respective fields. Our faculty is always finding new ways of making contributions to scholarship and society through the combined deployment of several fields of study that are shaping opportunities in the cyberspace. Besides, we have functional academic programmes to match the rapidly changing landscape of human advancement in the cyberspace.

To become a globally recognized focal point for Research, Training, Innovations and Enterprise development in Cyberspace management.

MISSION

To foster high ethical standards in Cyberspace scholarship, promote industry driven research, and innovations that could support national development and contribute towards engendering a secure cyberspace through scientific solutions, enterprise development, and collaboration with other established global research institutes, and industry players.

ABOUT US

The Centre for Cyberspace Studies (CCS), Nasarawa State University, Keffi, is Nigeria’s first Centre of Excellence (COE) in Cyberspace research, development and innovations. It is a multidisciplinary research Centre, which is registered as a commercial entity in Nigeria with RC 1259811. CCS is committed to cutting-edge researches, scientific innovations and maximizing opportunities the cyberspace offers developing countries in terms of enterprise development, employment and secure environment for e-governance and economic development. The Centre has since its establishment in 2014 developed viable linkages, collaborations and joint research activities with national and international regulatory agencies, professional organizations and world-class scholars and research institutes in Africa, Europe and United States of America.
